Commercial Roofing Estimator

 We are seeking a skilled Commercial Roofing Estimator to provide accurate labor and material estimates for a variety of commercial roofing projects. This role combines office-based planning with on-site evaluations, requiring strong technical knowledge and communication skills. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate estimates from bid documents or sales take-offs.

• Collaborate with sales personnel, office staff, subcontractors, and project managers to review scope, submittals, schedules, and contracts.

• Attend pre-construction meetings and assist in pre-job planning.

• Create equipment lists, schedule deliveries, and coordinate materials with the project manager.

• Maintain accurate records and perform additional tasks assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial roofing estimating experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of all commercial roof systems, from new construction to re-roofs.

• Skilled in reading and taking off drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

• Proficient in Excel, Word, Adobe; experience with estimating software (EDGE preferred).

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Requirements:

• Understanding of roofing practices, techniques, codes, and regulations.

• Must comply with OSHA guidelines and SOPs.

• Must pass mandatory/random drug tests.

• Clean driver’s license required.

• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.
