COMMERCIAL ROOFING SUPERINTENDENT

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated Commercial Roofing Superintendent to join a growing team in the Greenville-Spartanburg market. This role is responsible for leading foremen and crews to deliver high-quality roofing projects safely, on time, and within budget.
This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing new construction and reroof projects while ensuring strong communication, safety, and job site performance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Lead and supervise all on-site roofing activities including installation, repair, and maintenance
• Manage foremen, crews, subcontractors, and vendors on active job sites
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to specification
• Maintain high safety standards and enforce OSHA compliance across all job sites
• Conduct daily site visits, safety audits, and crew meetings
• Monitor project progress and adjust resources to meet deadlines
• Coordinate closely with project managers to align on timelines and goals
• Inspect work to ensure top-tier quality and customer satisfaction
• Troubleshoot job site issues and resolve challenges quickly
• Manage material flow, equipment, and crew assignments
• Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and documentation
• Review change orders and ensure proper billing alignment
• Participate in manufacturer inspections and project close-outs
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients on-site
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and accountability to roofing teams
WHAT YOU NEED
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience
• Superintendent or leadership experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified, Metal)
• Solid understanding of OSHA safety standards and job site compliance
• Ability to read blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing multiple crews and large-scale projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or project management tools
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops
• Ability to lift materials and climb ladders regularly
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
