As the Roofing Supervisor, you'll lead a team of approximately 6 roofing technicians, balancing hands-on field leadership with administrative responsibilities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Details

Key responsibilities include:

Supervise daily roofing operations including repairs, leak response, inspections, and preventative maintenance
Assign and coordinate work orders across a designated portfolio of commercial properties
Ensure crews meet productivity, quality, and safety expectations
Perform field quality control inspections and troubleshoot roofing issues
Review, prioritize, and manage work orders using Yardi
Approve employee timecards and ensure labor hours are accurately tracked in Paylocity
Process expenses using Expensify
Monitor project costs and ensure work stays within approved budgets
Coordinate material procurement and inventory needs
Mentor, coach, and develop roofing technicians through ongoing training and performance management
Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth
Partner with internal departments and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and project records
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards

What We're Looking For:
We're looking for a true commercial roofing expert who can lead by example and has earned the respect of field crews through experience.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing supervisory experience
Strong hands-on experience with commercial roofing systems including: TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Built-Up Roofing (BUR), Other flat roofing systems
Ability to diagnose roofing problems and provide effective repair solutions
Experience leading crews, managing productivity, and maintaining quality standards
Proficiency with: Yardi, Paylocity, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Valid driver's license
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Roof coating experience
Experience using Expensify
Preventative maintenance program experience
Budget and work order management experience
