Commercial Sales Assistant

Bayside Electric Supply Co, Inc is a family-owned electrical distributor and lighting showroom serving contractors, builders, homeowners, and design professionals in the building materials industry. As a Commercial Sales Assistant, you will play an important part in supporting a growing commercial sales team and helping create a smooth experience for customers throughout the order process. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys staying close to the details, communicating clearly, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative sales support for the commercial sales team as it continues to grow.
• Track all parts of commercial orders throughout the order process.
• Keep customers informed of their order status and location.
• Help ensure customers can plan for a smooth delivery at their desired job site location.
• Assist with maintaining the commercial sales pipeline over time.
• Support invoicing on specific jobs depending on business needs and individual strengths.

Requirements

The successful candidate will need a working knowledge of general Microsoft based products such as MS Office, Excel and Word. Experience updating customers on order status and/or location is required, and candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. Helpful working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat creator/editor would be a plus. 2+ years of experience in a support role, experience with sales pipeline coordination, and experience with invoicing on specific jobs would also be a plus.

Annual salary: 35,360-43,680 USD/year.
