Overview:

The Kaiser Permanente Enterprise Sales Solutions Data analyst serves as a bridge between business needs and robust data management practices, applying strong analysis skills to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy. With a deep understanding of master data concepts-like record consolidation and lifecycle impacts-they are comfortable handling large datasets, particularly during migrations and phased rollouts. Key for this role is expertise in database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, and Databricks, enabling them to connect, develop complex queries, and validate data through joins, aggregations, and reconciliations. The analyst streamlines recurring processes by building automated workflows for data cleansing, standardization, and business rule application, providing a strong foundation for reliable reporting. Additionally, they excel at data modeling, thorough validation, and clear technical documentation, always maintaining high attention to detail and a strong validation mindset in every aspect of their work.

Job Summary:

This individual contributor is primarily responsible for driving strategic data-informed decisions, gathering data and information on targeted variables in an established systematic fashion, and preparing data for analytic efforts. This position executes creative data analytic approaches leading to actionable outcomes, interprets data analyses, and develops analytical and/or statistical models enabling informed business decisions.
