About the Role
Extraco Banks is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Commercial Specialist to support our Commercial Banking team in Frisco, TX. This role is essential in delivering a seamless client experience by coordinating loan documentation, supporting relationship management activities, and assisting with deposit and operational needs.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and is committed to providing exceptional service to both internal partners and commercial clients.
 
What You’ll Do:
 
Commercial Loan Documentation & Processing
  • Prepare and coordinate documentation for new commercial loans, renewals, and modifications
  • Ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with internal policies and regulations
  • Enter loan requests and approved terms into bank systems for processing
Loan Closing & Client Interaction
  • Facilitate loan closings with customers, ensuring understanding and proper execution of documents
  • Coordinate closely with lenders, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely closings
  • Provide clear, professional communication throughout the process
Portfolio Administration & Tracking
  • Track documentation status, exceptions, and follow-up items
  • Support compliance with loan policies, Fair Lending, and CRA requirements
  • Identify and escalate potential documentation or asset quality concerns
Client Service & Relationship Support
  • Deliver a high level of customer service across in-person, phone, and digital channels
  • Serve as a point of contact for operational and servicing inquiries
  • Support relationship retention through responsiveness and attention to detail
Team Support & Collaboration
  • Partner with designated lenders to support loan production efforts
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM systems
  • Collaborate with loan operations, credit, and other internal teams
Deposit Operations & Teller Functions
  • Open and service business and consumer deposit accounts
  • Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
  • Maintain and balance a cash drawer in accordance with bank procedures
  • Adhere to all security, compliance, and fraud prevention protocols
What You Bring:
 
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in commercial lending support, loan operations, or documentation
  • Familiarity with banking regulations and loan compliance requirements
  • Retail banking, deposit operations, or teller experience (preferred)
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
  • Ability to accurately handle cash and maintain balancing standards
 
Work Environment & Schedule
  • Primarily office-based with moderate noise levels
  • Regular use of computers and standard office equipment
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the day
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Occasional Saturday hours as needed
