Senior Project Manager
Our client is a well-established general contractor specializing in multi-family and commercial construction throughout the Chicagoland area. Known for delivering complex, high-visibility projects, they maintain long-standing relationships with their clients and do about 75% repeat business. They are also rapidly expanding, and are looking for a Senior Project Manager to assist with supporting a strong project pipeline.
Glimpse of your role:
- Manage full project lifecycle for multi-family and commercial construction projects
- Lead project teams including PMs, Superintendents, and subcontractors
- Serve as primary point of contact with owner's, architects, and stakeholders
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and change management
- Ensure strict compliance with public procurement, safety, and documentation standards
- Review contracts, subcontracts, drawings, and specifications
- Mentor junior project management staff

The successful applicant:
- 10+ years of construction project management experience, including ground-up new construction.
- Strong project experience on multi-family, commercial, healthcare, k-12.
- Proven ability to run projects valued while managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Skilled in Procore, MS Project, or other project management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
