Can you walk a set of structural drawings, visualize the pour, and lead a team to deliver it safely and on time? At Hood Construction, you’ll guide concrete crews across hospitals, schools, and hospitality projects—owning the work from footings through the final finish.

Challenge you’ll tackle

• Lead day-to-day field operations for foundations, slabs, walls, columns, and flatwork
• Translate structural plans/specs into coordinated formwork, reinforcing, and placement methods
• Drive quality: monitor tolerances, surface finish, and curing to meet standards
• Keep people safe: uphold OSHA rules and site-specific safety practices
• Protect the schedule: collaborate with PMs, inspectors, and trades; communicate progress and risks early

What it takes

• 5+ years of commercial concrete experience, including 2+ years as a crew lead/foreman
• Deep knowledge of forming systems, rebar/reinforcing, ACI standards, and building codes
• Ability to read and act on structural drawings and specifications
• Clear leadership and communication under pressure
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Concrete installation and finishing
• Rod-busting/rebar installation
