Description
- Lead all onsite construction activities and field operations.
- Manage subcontractors, inspections, scheduling, and site logistics.
- Coordinate directly with Project Managers and design‑build partners.
- Ensure projects meet schedule, quality, safety, and budget expectations.
- Run daily planning meetings and subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Maintain strong communication with owners, inspectors, and consultants.
- Enforce safety standards and maintain clean, organized job sites.
Profile
A successful Commercial Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Experience with ground‑up and renovation commercial projects.
- Design‑build experience is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding of site logistics, scheduling, and trade coordination.
- Hands‑on leadership style with active site presence.
- Strong communication skills with owners, subs, and internal teams.
- Local to or able to work full‑time in the Charleston, SC area.
