Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Commercial Tire Technician to join a growing team in Oklahoma City. This position is responsible for repairing, replacing, and maintaining commercial tires on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including semi-trucks, construction equipment, and agricultural machinery.
The ideal candidate has hands-on tire service experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience & Skills
1 3 years of commercial tire service experience preferred (OTR, agricultural, construction, or similar)
Experience performing tire repairs, replacements, and balancing
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to safely operate tire changers, balancing machines, lifts, and related service equipment
Valid driver's license required
CDL preferred, but not required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Repair, replace, and maintain tires on commercial trucks, construction equipment, and agricultural machinery
Safely operate tire service equipment, including tire changers, balancing machines, and vehicle lifts
Inspect tires and diagnose wear, damage, or other service issues
Recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions based on inspection findings
Complete service documentation and work orders accurately
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety policies and quality standards
Provide professional customer service while interacting with clients
Assist other technicians and team members as needed to support daily operations
Preferred Qualifications
Experience servicing OTR, commercial fleet, agricultural, or heavy equipment tires
CDL license
Previous experience in a commercial tire shop or heavy-duty service environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy commercial tires throughout the workday
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and repetitive lifting
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to safely operate heavy tire service equipment while wearing required PPE
Work Environment
Commercial tire service facility with indoor and outdoor work areas
Fast-paced environment servicing heavy-duty trucks, agricultural equipment, and construction machinery
Exposure to heavy equipment, hydraulic lifts, tire service machinery, and varying weather conditions
Safety-focused workplace requiring PPE and adherence to company safety procedures
