What You'll Do\n
\n
Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems, including RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV boxes, and building automation/controls systems
\n
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial equipment per manufacturer specs and service agreements
\n
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant circuit issues using test equipment and diagnostic tools
\n
Install new commercial HVAC systems and retrofit or upgrade existing equipment
\n
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals
\n
Respond to emergency service calls, including rotating on-call shifts
\n
Accurately complete service tickets, time logs, and parts/material records
\n
Communicate directly with customers and facility managers regarding system status, repairs, and recommendations
\n
Maintain compliance with EPA refrigerant handling regulations and OSHA safety standards
\n
Keep service vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and in good working order
\n
What You Bring\n
\n
5+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience (light-commercial and heavy-commercial equipment)
\n
EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required
\n
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
\n
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and building automation systems (BAS) a plus
\n
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
\n
Sharp troubleshooting instincts and a problem-solver's mindset
\n
Excellent customer service and communication skills
\n
NATE certification preferred
\n
High school diploma or GED; HVAC trade school or equivalent apprenticeship experience
\n

Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs
\n
Comfortable working at heights (ladders, rooftops) and in confined spaces
\n
Ready to work in varying weather and temperature conditions
\n
Standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing for extended periods
\n
