Description
The Grand over Resort and Spa, a Wyndham Grand Hotel, is seeking a Commissary Clerk for the Food and Beverage Department. The Commissary Clerk is responsible for various tasks related to the management and operation of the commissary within the resort.
Key Responsibilities: • Monitor stock levels and purchase supplies from approved vendors using pars, forecasts and product requests for special events. • Receive deliveries and check for accuracy. Resolve issues. Shelve and rotate product received. • Drive company vehicle to pick up orders and products as needed. • Receive and process requisitions from food and beverage outlets. • Supervise employees presenting requests in commissary for safety and authorization. Record transaction accurately. • Perform weekly beverage inventory and monthly commissary inventory using FoodTrak scanner. • Ensure accurate record-keeping of inventory levels, stock availability, and monitor product expiration dates. • Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and address any concerns related to commissary services. • Adhere to health and safety regulations when handling food items. • Maintain safety, cleanliness and hygiene standards within the commissary area.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting. • Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions. • Basic knowledge of inventory management. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands. • Valid North Carolina driver's license.
