The Commissioning (Cx) Room Ready Field Engineer will manage the sign off process for all project punch list items to ensure that each room is ready for commissioning. The Commissioning (Cx) Room Ready Field Engineer will collaborate with subcontractors and craftspeople to address completion of all punch list items. This position is fully onsite at our project located near Amarillo, TX.Salary: $85,000 - $130,000 DOE + Per Diem & IncentivesPRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversee subcontractors and vendors installed work daily to ensure that they are maintaining their installation schedule, support system startup and commissioning activitiesWork within the project Commissioning database program including importing/exporting data related to Room Ready reportsElectronically distribute Room Ready punchlist to subcontractors and track activities through to completionSchedule Room Ready field walks with subcontractors and client personnelVerify all documentation is completeOrganization, ensure completion and filing of record documentsInformation storageand retrieval using a computer and other handheld electronic hardware.Must be able to access all areas and levels of construction site for work progress reviewWork schedule must be flexible to allow extended hours or off-shift work to accommodate changing construction schedule and sequencesProvide clear communication verbally, written and electronicallyESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is combination of standing, walking, and sittingLegs: Must be able to climb stairs - 40% of dayHands/Arms: Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer useVision: Visual acuity in near, mid, and far range. Familiar with CSI specification system forconstructionAbility to work closely with trade and craft people in a field work situation.
