This role is responsible for ensuring electrical systems and equipment are installed, tested, and commissioned in compliance with design specifications and operational requirements.This is a great opportunity to work on complex infrastructure projects while playing a key role in energization and system reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute and oversee commissioning activities for substation equipment and protection systemsReview and validate commissioning documentation, test plans, and resultsPerform system walkdowns to assess completion status and identify outstanding workSupport relay calibration, testing, and operational verificationEnsure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry requirementsProvide technical troubleshooting and support during commissioning activitiesCoordinate with project teams to ensure timely and successful project deliveryReview post-commissioning documentation for completeness and accuracyRequired QualificationsMinimum 5+ years of commissioning experience in power systems or substationsStrong understanding of protection systems, relay testing, and commissioning practicesOSHA 10 certification (or ability to obtain)Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and lead technical efforts on-sitePreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldExperience with relay systems and protection testingNICET or NETA certification preferredExperience with large utility or transmission systems is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
