Commodity Sourcing

Payrate: $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
 
Summary:
We are seeking a motivated individual with 1-3 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. The role involves analyzing daily material requirements, executing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate delivery information to support production, sales, and service demands.
 
Responsibilities

• Analyze daily requirements to determine material needs and execute purchase orders to satisfy demand schedules.
• Maintain accurate delivery information on open purchase orders through supplier acknowledgements.
• Expedite material delivery where necessary and maintain status updates on shortages for production, sales, and service demand.
• Continually review stocking levels for each item to provide targeted service levels.
• Communicate with suppliers to best support the inventory plan and provide timely delivery for production needs.
• Regularly update backlog status reports and communicate with Customer Service expected delivery for customer orders.
• Review and recommend disposition of all excess and obsolete inventory.
• Perform root cause analysis of service outliers to identify and implement improvements in overall process.

 
Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with purchase order execution and supplier communication.
• Ability to manage and expedite material deliveries effectively.

 
Skills

• Proficient in supply chain management software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $28.00 - $30.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
