Our client is seeking an experienced Communication Manager to join their communications team on a contract basis through the end of 2026. This execution‑focused communications role supports an established communications department with a backlog of projects and ongoing deliverables. Strategic direction will be provided by leadership, allowing this individual to focus on producing high‑quality content, managing projects, and keeping communications initiatives moving forward. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong communications professional who enjoys writing, editing, managing multiple priorities, and working collaboratively across an organization.You WillWrite and edit articles, newsletters, website content, email communications, executive messaging, video scripts, and other communications materialsExecute communication initiatives based on priorities established by department leadershipManage production schedules and coordinate recurring communication deliverables to ensure deadlines are metUpdate and maintain website content using WordPressEdit and proofread communications to ensure consistency with AP Style, branding, and organizational standardsCoordinate communication resources, including digital campaigns, printed materials, presentations, social media content, and marketing collateralAssist with executive communications, media relations, annual meeting materials, and organizational messagingSupport social media content planning and implementation alongside the internal communications staffPartner with internal departments to gather information, develop messaging, and deliver communications projectsRecommend process improvements and communication best practices to improve efficiencyYou Have5+ years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, corporate communications, or a related fieldBachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related disciplineExceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skillsStrong knowledge of AP StyleExperience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyExperience working with Microsoft Office 365 and WordPressFamiliarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp and survey tools is preferredBasic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is helpfulStrong organizational, project management, and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently while partnering effectively with leadership and internal stakeholdersLogisticsStart Date/Duration: ASAP as contractor for 2-3 months and possibly ongoing through 2026Hours/Week: 40 Hours/WeekOnsite/Offsite: Hybrid. Approximately 3 days/week onsite in Carmel, Indiana.
