Creates and/or oversee the creation of content for use in agency communication efforts, including, but not limited to, newsletters and brochures, reports, videos, website and social media content, internal communications, news announcement and releases.
Assist the Director of Communications, Advocacy and Community Relations in developing a communication strategy and brand identity that build on the agency mission.
Work to ensure that families served, and the general public, can access accurate, up-to-date information on topics such as employment, housing, advocacy, early intervention, transportation, remote support and more.
Consults with colleagues and people served by FCBDD to identify stories and videos that promote agency initiatives and goals, and in that highlight efforts of applicants in Franklin County.
Fosters relationships with families, service providers, other public agencies and organizations to share information and, where appropriate, receive feedback on FCBDD efforts in customer experience.
Represents agency at external meetings and events as needed or directed; contributes to special campaigns and events such as DD Awareness Month, tax levy information sharing, and the Provider Fair.
Engages with the broader public, business community and other stakeholders to raise awareness about the priorities of the agency and the local developmental disability community.
