Organizational Communications Strategy & Leadership

 

  • Establish and lead the organization’s communication vision, ensuring alignment between strategy, leadership messaging, culture, and enterprise priorities.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise communications strategy that advances organizational clarity, alignment, engagement, and culture.
  • Serve as the strategic architect and steward of executive communications, ensuring leadership messaging is aligned, compelling, and values-driven.
  • Direct enterprise-wide internal communications initiatives that reinforce strategic objectives and strengthen organizational cohesion.
  • Design and implement integrated communication plans for major initiatives, change efforts, leadership transitions, and enterprise announcements.
  • Establish standards for voice, tone, messaging governance, and executive presence across the organization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive and senior leaders, providing strategic counsel on messaging, audience engagement, and reputation management.
  • Oversee enterprise communication planning and calendar governance to ensure coordinated, timely, and aligned messaging.
  • Provide leadership during crisis or high-impact situations, ensuring transparent, timely, and reputation-conscious communication.

Engagement Technology Strategy & Platform Leadership

  • Own and optimize the engagement technology ecosystem that enables communication, connection, and collaboration across the organization.
  • Serve as the executive owner and strategic steward of engagement and communication platforms connecting employees, residents, and participants.
  • Develop and lead a multi-year engagement technology roadmap aligned with organizational priorities and communication strategy.
  • Drive enterprise-wide adoption and utilization through structured enablement, leader accountability, and change management practices.
  • Establish governance standards and ensure platform integrity, appropriate access, content quality, and compliance.
  • Oversee implementations, upgrades, integrations, and feature rollouts to ensure seamless execution and user experience.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training and onboarding strategies that promote confident and effective platform use.
  • Monitor platform performance, usage trends, and analytics to measure engagement impact and inform continuous improvement.
  • Cultivate strategic vendor partnerships, ensuring performance excellence, innovation, and value realization.

Organizational Engagement & Change Leadership

  • Align enterprise communication strategies with engagement technologies to support major organizational initiatives and transformation efforts.
  • Lead change management strategies related to communication tools, platforms, and engagement practices, incorporating readiness, stakeholder alignment, and reinforcement planning.
  • Partner with executive and operational leaders to strengthen adoption of new communication approaches and digital tools.
  • Architect integrated engagement strategies that intentionally leverage technology to drive connection, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Identify and champion innovative opportunities to enhance employee, resident, and participant engagement through digital solutions.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms and engagement metrics to measure effectiveness and continuously refine strategies.
  • Ensure communication tools and practices foster a connected, informed, and aligned culture across communities, centers, and corporate teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Organizational Leadership, Technology Management, or related field is required.
  • Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education requirement.

Experience-

  • Five (5) years of experience in communications, digital engagement platforms, or organizational communication strategy.
  • Experience supporting executive-level communications.
  • Experience leading enterprise communication or collaboration platforms.
  • Experience driving technology adoption and training initiatives.
  • Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.

 

KSA- Knowledge Skills and Abilities-

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong project management and change management capabilities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional leadership teams.
  • Ability to translate complex technology capabilities into practical organizational solutions.
  • Superior writing and editing skills; ability to communicate clearly and effectively across a variety of formats and audiences.
  • Experience producing creative campaigns to engage a large global organization.
  • Expertise in developing content across multiple formats, including video, podcasts, and infographics.
  • Strong knowledge of communications delivery platforms and measurement tools.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and an ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • Ability to interpret technical information into language that is understandable by and compelling for a variety of audiences.
