Student will report directly to the Communications Manager. The student supports all sections within the Education Department and performs a variety of planning and project management functions for the Education Department including assisting with digital communications, content development, media monitoring, development of visual communications and marketing materials and preparation and coordination of events.
The purpose of employing students and temporary employees is to provide assistance to the full-time staff, and to provide meaningful work experience and training for the individual to prepare them for future employment.

Required Education: Should be a full-time graduate or undergraduate student and maintain full-time status in order to retain eligibility for continued employment as a student worker. Verification of full-time student status must be furnished to the Human Resources office at the beginning of each Spring and Fall semester.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Student employees are allowed to work no more than 20 hours per week while attending classes. Student employees may work up to 29 hours per week but shall not exceed 29 hours when not attending classes.
