Job Purpose

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Communications Intern to support our efforts in crafting compelling messages and engaging content for our internal and external audiences. The Communications team works cross-functionally, providing an opportunity to interact with colleagues across various business units and functions at Albany.

Responsibilities

Content Creation and Management • Assist in writing and editing engaging content for our intranet, e-Boards, emails, press releases, and social media platforms. • Support the creation of visual assets such as graphics, photos, or videos. • Research and develop content ideas aligned with the companys mission and goals.

Social Media Management • Help manage and monitor social media channels, including drafting and scheduling posts. • Analyze engagement metrics to provide insights and suggestions for improving social media strategies. • Respond to comments and messages on social platforms in a professional and timely manner when required.

Internal Communications • Contribute to internal announcements and support communication for Human Resources initiatives and employee engagement campaigns. • Support the creation and distribution of communication materials for internal events and initiatives. • Help coordinate communication planning and logistics for occasional employee events.

Administrative Tasks • Organize and maintain digital files, including communication materials and media assets. • Support team members with scheduling, meeting preparation, and other tasks as needed.
