Description

The Communications Intern supports the monitoring and maintenance of the company's brand reputation across digital and media channels. This role assists with tracking brand mentions, organizing communications materials, and supporting the team in maintaining consistent and positive brand messaging.

This is a hands-on learning opportunity for someone interested in marketing, communications, and brand management, with exposure to real-time reputation monitoring and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  

     Monitor online platforms (e.g.review sites, news) for brand mentions

     Assist in tracking and organizing brand sentiment, feedback, and reputation-related trends

     Assist with drafting responses to customer reviews or inquiries under guidance

     Support marketing and communications initiatives that promote a positive brand image

     Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency across channels

     Conduct basic research on competitors, industry trends and brand perception

     Assist with reporting by compiling data and insights for the team

     Support general administrative and project tasks as needed

     Other marketing-related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

 

     Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field

     Strong written and verbal communication skills

     Interest in brand management and reputation monitoring

     Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

     Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze information, and suggest well-thought-out solutions 

     Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism

     Basic understanding of social media platforms and online communication tools

     Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced environment

     Familiarity with SEO and online brand strategies

 

 

Education

 

     High school diploma or equivalent required

     Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred
