Description Amazon is looking for a driven, experienced Communications Manager to join its Stores Communications team, focused on Delivery and Speed storytelling. In this role, you'll lead proactive communications programs grounded in data and insights that help bring Amazon's fast delivery speeds to life for customers, media, and stakeholders. You'll develop narratives around delivery milestones, identify opportunities to tell Amazon's speed story, and partner with business leaders to shape communications strategies. This role can be based in Seattle, WA, or Arlington, VA. Key job responsibilities Build and lead proactive strategic communications plans and campaigns to support Amazon's delivery speed narratives. Translate complex data into compelling stories, media moments, and sustained narrative momentum. Identify, analyze, and synthesize internal data to uncover trends, insights, and proof points that resonate with customers and media. Develop data-backed media moments that highlight Amazon's fast delivery offerings. Deliver earned, owned, and social media coverage of Amazon delivery speed and selection. Provide strategic communications guidance and support for business leaders and initiatives. Work across internal stakeholders to deliver on objectives. Develop and write press releases, media pitches, owned channels content and talking points. Build and maintain relationships with reporters from top-tier media outlets. Prepare forward-looking plans for emerging issues. Successfully manage complex, fast-moving and unexpected communications challenges, both proactively and reactively. Basic Qualifications - 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience - Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications - Excellent written and verbal communications skills. - Demonstrated ability to translate complex data for external audiences - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. - Ability to drive progress and earn trust while working across multiple teams. - Experience working directly with media. - Creative and entrepreneurial thinking. - Ability to operate independently while coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders. - Solid judgment, particularly in narrow time frames. - Ability to multitask and prioritize. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
