Overview
The Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) Headquarters team is seeking a Communications Manager-Social & Digital to shape and execute a focused executive digital voice strategy.
This role will deliver high-impact, issues-based storytelling across social and digital channels, centered on Washington state policy priorities, community engagement, and philanthropy. The goal is to build a credible, trusted, and human executive voice that reflects Microsoft's leadership at the intersection of technology, society, and local impact.
We are looking for a modern digital communicator and experimenter. Someone who is eager to push beyond traditional corporate storytelling, pilot new formats, test emerging platforms, and evolve how executive voice shows up in a fast-changing social landscape. This role will define and evolve a modern, credible executive voice-experimenting with new ways to communicate on issues that matter locally and globally, while ensuring Microsoft's presence is trusted, relevant, and ahead of the curve in digital engagement.

Communications IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $86,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $113,300 - $187,400 per year.
