A mission-driven organization is seeking a
Communications Specialist to support communications efforts across digital, print, media, and internal channels. This role will coordinate projects, manage content updates, support stakeholder communications, and help share the organization's impact through clear and engaging storytelling.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate communications projects, timelines, approvals, and deliverables.
- Support social media campaigns, website updates, and digital communications.
- Assist with press releases, announcements, reports, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Maintain media contacts, stakeholder databases, and communications records.
- Coordinate website content updates and digital asset management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and communicate organizational stories and impact.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of communications, marketing, public relations, or related experience.
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and project coordination skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, website CMS platforms, social media tools, Canva, and project management software.
- Experience in nonprofit, philanthropy, or mission-driven organizations preferred.
