You'll work closely with senior leadership, including the CEO, to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful, while also helping drive a strong, connected culture within our Seattle headquarters.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can move fast, manage multiple stakeholders, and bring structure and creativity to how communications get done, ideally with an AI-first mindset. Excellent opportunity for someone wanting to grow their experience across internal, external, and executive comms.

What You'll Do

Executive & Leadership Communications

  • Partner with leadership to develop authentic, high-impact LinkedIn and external content
  • Coordinate logistics and messaging for executive participation in media and industry engagements

Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

  • Manage and execute company-wide town halls in partnership with executive leadership
  • Own internal communications cadence (announcements, updates, storytelling, events)
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including internal awards and recognition programs
  • Help shape and maintain a strong, connected office culture within the Seattle HQ
  • Plan and execute Employee Advocacy activities that increase brand awareness

PR & Corporate Communications Support

  • Support PR and other Comms activities where Seattle-based executive coordination is required
  • Help manage award submissions and track recognition opportunities
  • Assist with press materials, briefing prep, and general communications operations for key Seattle-based executives

Content Development

  • Support ongoing content creation for key executives and leaders (e.g., blogs, social posts, podcasts, thought leadership)
  • Ensure messaging aligns with WatchGuard's brand voice and strategic priorities
  • Identify creative ways to leverage content in executive communications

Operational Excellence & AI-First Approach

  • Bring structure to communications workflows, calendars, and processes
  • Leverage AI tools to increase speed, quality, and scale of content and communications
  • Continuously identify ways to improve efficiency and impact across comms efforts

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, PR, corporate comms, or related field
  • Strong writing and editing skills across formats (executive voice, social, internal, PR)
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., for content creation, workflow automation, or research)
  • Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Experience with internal communications and employee engagement initiatives
  • Familiarity with PR and analyst relations workflows
  • Comfort working in-person with executives in a Seattle-based office environment

Bonus

  • Experience in cybersecurity, B2B tech, or working with MSP/channel audiences
  • Event planning or executive event support experience

Compensation

The base salary range is $100,000-$125,000 per year for full-time employment, exclusive of benefits. Your base salary will be determined by your individual skills, education, experience and ability to leverage modern AI-technologies.
