Job Description:
Are you experienced in structured cabling systems with a passion for precision and performance? We’re looking for a Communications Technician with hands-on experience in cable installation, termination, and testing to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Install, terminate, and test copper cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, etc.)
- • Build and maintain structured cabling systems in commercial and industrial environments
- • Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical diagrams
- • Perform cable certification and troubleshooting using industry-standard tools (e.g., Fluke testers)
- • Ensure all work meets industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and safety regulations
Required Qualifications:
- • 4+ years of experience in structured cabling and low-voltage systems
- • Proficiency in cable routing, dressing, labeling, and documentation
- • Strong knowledge of cable types, connectors, and termination techniques
- • Familiarity with racks, patch panels, and cable management systems
- • [BICSI Certification, a plus. OSHA 10/30, or equivalent preferred]
