Community Ambassador (Summer/Temporary)

At Archtop Fiber, our mission is to be the fiber that connects the community. We believe in the power of local connectivity and dedication to bridging the digital divide in rural and suburban cities across the Hudson Valley and beyond. We have seen how larger cities often receive priority for broadband infrastructure upgrades, leaving smaller communities unserved or underserved. That’s why we prioritize serving Main Street by investing up to $350 million in private funding to build more than 2,500 miles of fiber-optic infrastructure. 

Job Responsibilities

Archtop Fiber is expanding across the Hudson Valley and Capital Region, bringing fast, reliable fiber internet to local communities. We're looking for energetic, dependable team members to help keep residents informed as construction moves through their neighborhoods this summer. As a Summer Community Ambassador, you'll be out in the community helping residents stay informed about upcoming fiber construction and service availability.

• Place door tags and informational materials at homes and apartment communities
• Share information about Archtop Fiber and upcoming construction activity
• Serve as a friendly, professional representative of Archtop Fiber in the community
• Record completed locations and activity using a company-provided mobile device
• Collect residents’ questions, concerns, or requests and connect them with the appropriate Archtop Fiber team for follow-up
• Provide feedback from the field to help improve the customer experience
• Walk neighborhoods and work outdoors throughout your assigned territory
