Job Summary
As part of the company's Communications, Community and Sales Support team, this position supports Graniterock's sales and community involvement teams, leads photo and video content acquisition, leads video production efforts, manages Graniterock community appearances, and serves as a community ambassador - directly aligned with Graniterock''s Core Values and business objectives.
Essential Job Accountabilities
Comply with, understand and promote Graniterock safety initiatives to ensure "Safety Before All Else."
Lead Graniterock appearances at community events and serve as a skilled and engaging Graniterock community ambassador.
Support leaders of Graniterock''s community involvement teams to ensure strong community presence and engagement across the company's operating regions.
Support Graniterock's Sales team, Construction Group and Graniterock Supply business in marketing communication and promotional efforts to advance Graniterock''s brand and business objectives.
Lead acquisition of all Graniterock video and photo content, including drone footage, for use in publications, social media, marketing material, and other communications channels.
Lead video production efforts including visual storytelling curation, shoot logistics, video editing oversight and execution.
Collaborate with the Communications, Community and Sales Support team and other leaders to ensure all content aligns with Graniterock''s brand standards, messaging priorities, and core values.
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor''s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or equivalent experience
2-4 years of experience in video production or related marketing communications
2-4 years of community relations or equivalent experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to represent Graniterock professionally in community and public settings
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-first approach
Proficiency in video production, editing software and drone operation (willingness to obtain certification)
Strong photography and visual storytelling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content best practices
Must have valid California driver''s license and clean driving record
Drone operation experience and FAA Part 107 certification are considered a plus
Work Environment
This position will require regular travel to various Graniterock, community and customer locations for content capture and event production. Evening and weekend work may be necessary to support events and time-sensitive projects.
