Summary:As a core member of the Development Team, the Community and Corporate Relationships Manager (CCRM) will report to the Director of Development and will also take direction from the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer. They will be responsible for overseeing the agency's volunteer program; planning and execution of agency events including the annual Gala, Golf Tournament and other fundraising events, client facing support events, and other agency stewardship events. Additionally, the CCRM will supervise the Community and Corporate Relationships Coordinator - who stewards corporate partners and assists in events coordination - and carry a portfolio of top corporate partners for sponsorship and solicitation of both in-kind and financial support. All of these activities are in service to growing the agency's base of support and strengthening the pipeline of new donors to the agency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Volunteer Program Management

Oversee and grow the agency's volunteer programmingProvide supervision and assignments to the Volunteer Relationship CoordinatorPartner with management at Program staff to create meaningful opportunities for our supporters to impact the lives of our residentsGrow relationships with community groups to increase the pool of active donors and volunteers

Event Production

Oversee the planning and execution of all agency events

These include fundraising events (Gala, Golf Tournament, & others), client facing events, Supporter stewardship/cultivation events (Site Openings, Open Houses, salons, etc.)

Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and venues as well as program sites and leadershipCoordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are metSolicit donations for event revenue including direct sponsorships, auction items, and ticket salesManage event software for ticket sales and auction biddingExecute event program including taking the lead in "Run of Show"Work with auxiliary groups on 3rd party events to support the agency

Community & Corporate Relationship Building

Oversee community & corporate relationship building opportunities, raise funds and brand awareness as well as in-kind in partnershipProvide supervision and assignments to the Community and Corporate Relationships CoordinatorSeek out and initiate contact with new/prospective community and corporate partnersHost lunch and learn presentations and relationship building activities with new/prospect community and corporate partnersParticipate in volunteer and community events, including planning and preparation, which will include some weekend and evening activitiesWork in concert with Communications and Individual Giving colleagues to promote community and corporate events as appropriate.Conduct agency-wide tours with prospective supporters and volunteers, involving other staff as appropriate.OtherOther duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED or EquivalentValid CA Driver's license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and an acceptable driving recordTwo (2) years of development experience with an emphasis on fundraising events and/or volunteer program managementA passion for connecting philanthropists with high impact opportunities to help the most vulnerable in their communitiesDetail oriented with strong time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, and computer skillsAble to manage multiple projects concurrentlyComputer literate; able to effectively use computerized database, with demonstrable skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel programsProficient in the use of the Internet and social media toolsAble to work some evenings and weekends for special events and meetings as requestedAble to travel between Westside and downtown Los Angeles as work requires

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's DegreeFamiliarity with Raiser's Edge, Volgistics, and/or other donor management system preferred

Work Environment:
