Make Oral Healthcare More Accessible

Firefly is seeking a Community Dental Hygienist to help expand access to preventive oral healthcare services for children and families throughout Southwest Iowa.

This position serves individuals in schools, community settings, childcare centers, clinics, and outreach programs as part of Firefly's I-Smile initiative.

Responsibilities

· Deliver preventive dental hygiene services

· Conduct screenings and oral health assessments

· Educate families about oral health and disease prevention

· Connect clients with dental providers and resources

· Maintain documentation and program records

· Support outreach and community health initiatives

· Travel throughout the designated service area

Qualifications

· Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

· Minimum one year of clinical experience

· Current CPR/First Aid certification

· Valid driver's license

Preferred:

· Pediatric experience

· Community health experience

· Public health experience

· Knowledge of Iowa Medicaid programs
