Develops, strengthens, and sustains community partnerships to support the mission and operational needs of the Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC). Coordinates outreach efforts to secure new and ongoing donations, resale merchandise, volunteer support, and other community resources that support ARC programs, resident services, and Center operations. Community Donation Development & Partnerships: (50%) Develops, strengthens, and sustains community partnerships that generate ongoing support for the Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) with a primary emphasis on securing new and increased donations from the community. Identifies, researches, and actively pursues new donation sources, including but not limited to, corporations, resale donors, employee giving programs, churches, schools, homeowners' associations, civic groups, foundations, and community organizations. Cultivates long-term relationships with corporate and community partners to encourage recurring donations, resale support, employee donation drives, and mission-aligned community engagement. Designs and implements strategic outreach plans to increase donations of resale merchandise, program supplies, and other non-monetary contributions critical to the Center's operations and sustainability. Serves as the primary point of contact for community donors and partners, ensuring timely communication, donor stewardship, acknowledgment, and continued engagement with the Center's mission. Represents the Center at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities to increase visibility, strengthen partnerships, and promote donation opportunities. Coordinates and supports community-based donation drives (e.g., corporate, church, school, neighborhood, and civic initiatives), ensuring alignment with Center needs and capacity. Travels locally to attend community meetings, partner visits, donation drives, volunteer events, and other outreach activities as required. Program Support and In-Kind Donations: (25%) Collaborates closely with ARC program and operations staff to identify and prioritize specific program, vocational, resident, and operational needs. Coordinates the acquisition of targeted in-kind donations that directly support program activities, resident services, special initiatives, and facility needs. Ensures community resources are accurately matched to program requirements and maximizes the effectiveness and appropriateness of donated items and services. Maintains a positive working atmosphere by acting and communicating in a professional manner that will establish and promote a professional working relationship with vendors, donors, customers, beneficiaries, co-workers, and management. Volunteer Recruitment, Coordination & Engagement: (15%) Recruits, screens, orients, schedules, and coordinates volunteers to support ARC programs, events, and operational needs, ensuring adequate and appropriate volunteer coverage. Maintains volunteer records and positive relationships with volunteers, monitors engagement and performance, and ensures volunteers are appropriately oriented and receive appropriate guidance regarding ARC expectations, safety practices, confidentiality, and mission according to Salvation Army polices, procedures, and standards. Administrative Reporting & Recordkeeping: (10%) Tracks, monitors, and reports community donation activity, including new partnerships, donation volume, engagement outcomes, and follow-up actions. Maintains accurate records related to volunteer participation, in-kind donations, community support activities, and partner engagement. Prepares periodic reports and updates for leadership regarding outreach activity, donation development, volunteer support, and community engagement outcomes. Maintains organized records of community partners, donors, volunteers, donation resources, and donated resources in accordance with Salvation Army standards. Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as applicable. Knowledge of public relations and community cultivation. Knowledge of effective implementation of recruitment strategies. Skill in motivational techniques. Skill in marketing to a professional volunteer audience. Ability to prepare effective printed materials for educational and promotional purposes. Ability to implement guidelines, procedures, and policies in order to run effective programs. Ability to work with others to motivate them to give of their time and skills to The Salvation Army. Experience performing management, outreach, recruitment, and public speaking.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred; and two years of progressively responsible experience in community outreach, donor relations, volunteer coordination, public relations, or nonprofit program support; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Certifications Valid State Driver License
