You manage our social media presence, craft engaging posts, and develop fresh ideas to connect with members online. You assist in creating marketing materials, refining brand procedures, and ensuring our message stays consistent and authentic. It's a blend of community outreach, digital engagement, and creative marketing, a role that's as rewarding as it is dynamic. OUR REQUIREMENTS:Advanced education in marketing, communications, business management, public administration, public relations, or another related field or equivalent professional experienceExperience creating and managing social media content across multiple platformsPrior experience in marketing, community relations, or social media managementResides in Whatcom or Skagit countiesWillingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends for community eventsComfortable with public speaking and representing the organization at community eventsStrong writing and editing skillsProject management and basic graphic design skillsHighly organizedReliable, dependable, and adaptableAwareness of credit union values, community-oriented business models, and a member service focusAbility to attend weekly in-office meetings2+ years of experience in marketing, campaign management, or related creative/communications work YOUR SCHEDULE:A consistent 40-hour workweek, Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, with flexibility to attend community events. Start with four days in the office and one remote, with additional remote opportunities after your introductory period.
