Community Health Driver - PRN, as needed position for Polk Region

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Community Health Driver to join our outstanding and compassionate team. Come join our Community Health Team in this PRN position where you will be responsible for data entry, registration at events, interaction with customers, and providing good customer service at BayCare's community events.

The Community Health Driver's responsibilities include:

• Driving any of the Community Health fleet which includes the RVs, vans, and cars in a safe manner.
• Assisting with transporting department equipment.
• Performing general repair of equipment.
• Keeping proficient records in relations to logs and record keeping of vehicles.
• Scheduling services including vehicle cleaning and maintenance as well as medical equipment inspection.
• Following BayCare and department safety, routing and communication policies.
• Having basic knowledge of mobile unit mechanics along with minor vehicle maintenance and repair.

Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS Certification is required
• State of Florida driver's license is required, CDL State of Florida Class B is preferred

Education:

• High School or equivalent is required. Trade/Technical School - Auto Mechanics is preferred.

Experience:

• 3 - 5 years driving 35 ft and larger vehicles is required.
