This position serves as the Community Health Section Supervisor within the Family and Community Health Bureau. This position is responsible for program development, maintaining program operations, and staff supervision and support. The Community Health Section is home to many programs and projects supporting and enhancing the health of individuals and communities across the state. Programs include Adolescent Health, Oral Health, and the Montana Primary Care Office.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
Knowledge of the principles and practices of public health program administration, research methodology and disease prevention and control.
Knowledge of state and federal funding requirements, and grant, contract and budget management.
Knowledge of public health program planning, development, and evaluation.
Meet minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in health sciences, behavioral/social sciences, or a closely related field.
Five years of progressively responsible experience that includes program planning and administration
Other combinations of directly related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Preferred:
Supervisory experience is preferred.
Master's degree in public health or a related field is preferred.

Additional Information
This position may be eligible for partial telework within the state of Montana. Specific conditions will be provided by the supervisor and must adhere to state policy.
