    The pathology group supports a community hospital system with a steady volume of surgical and clinical pathology cases. The team operates in a collaborative environment with close relationships between pathologists, clinicians, and hospital leadership.

    The practice emphasizes efficiency, quality, and patient-centered care, with access to modern laboratory technology and support staff. Opportunities for medical directorship and involvement in hospital committees may be available depending on interest and experience.

    Position Highlights:

    • General AP/CP sign-out with a diverse case mix including biopsies, resections, and clinical pathology responsibilities
    • Opportunity to incorporate subspecialty expertise (e.g., GI, breast, GU, etc.)
    • Participation in frozen sections and intraoperative consultations
    • Collegial, team-based environment with strong support staff
    • Potential for medical directorship responsibilities
    • Focus on work-life balance with manageable call responsibilities

    Candidate Qualifications

    • MD or DO with board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology
    • Subspecialty fellowship training (preferred but not required)
    • Eligible for medical licensure in the applicable state
    • Comfortable with general surgical pathology and clinical pathology responsibilities
    • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
