Job Description

At Chick-fil-A Ruby & Sinto, we want every guest who walks through our doors to feel known, cared for, and genuinely welcomed.

The Community Host is the heartbeat of our dining room and a familiar face for our guests. This role is designed for someone who loves people, brings energy into a room, and naturally looks for ways to make someone's day better.

More than simply maintaining the dining room, the Community Host builds relationships. They learn names, welcome regulars, connect with families, celebrate special moments, and help create the kind of environment people want to come back to.

We are looking for someone who can become a celebrity within our community - a familiar face who builds genuine relationships and makes every guest feel known, valued, and cared for.

What You'll Do

• Create a warm and welcoming environment for every guest
• Greet guests and engage in genuine conversation throughout the dining room
• Build relationships with regular guests and members of our community
• Learn and remember guest names, preferences, and meaningful details when appropriate
• Look for opportunities to create memorable and personalized experiences
• Check in with guests throughout their visit and anticipate their needs
• Assist families with children, elderly guests, and guests who may need additional support
• Help guests with beverages, condiments, trays, highchairs, and other dining room needs
• Celebrate birthdays, milestones, and special moments with guests
• Recover guest experiences with care and involve leadership when appropriate
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining room
• Keep tables, floors, beverage areas, restrooms, and guest-facing spaces clean and ready
• Support the Front of House team during busy periods as needed
• Represent Chick-fil-A Ruby & Sinto with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality
• Help create a restaurant where guests feel like they belong

• Naturally warm, friendly, and approachable
• Comfortable starting conversations with guests of all ages and backgrounds
• Able to remember people and build meaningful relationships over time
• Observant and able to recognize guest needs before being asked
• Positive, energetic, and comfortable being highly visible in the restaurant
• Dependable and willing to take ownership of the dining room experience
• Able to balance conversation and relationship-building with maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
• Someone who takes pride in making others feel seen, valued, and cared for

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive motions throughout a shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
