Larimer County Pretrial Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Community Justice Case Specialist to join our Mental Health Intervention Pretrial Services (MHIPS) team. In this vital role, you will help bridge the gap between the justice system and community-based behavioral health support, making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.ScheduleFour 10-hour shifts that include one weekend day.What you'll be doingManaging a caseload of clients needing behavioral health support during the pretrial processConducting intake interviews to assess client needs and link them with community servicesMonitoring court compliance, verifying appearances, and tracking adherence to bond conditionsPreparing written compliance reports and making recommendations to the Courts, District Attorneys, and Defense Counsel—including bond revocation when appropriateProviding crisis intervention and support with conflict resolutionHelping clients access benefits and services by assisting with scheduling, paperwork, and referralsCollaborating with the courts and participating in a multidisciplinary team supporting the Competency DocketDeveloping personalized plans for client transition and ongoing careWhat we're looking forStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsExperience supporting vulnerable populations in a case management or social services roleKnowledge of behavioral health and the criminal justice systemAbility to work well within a collaborative, team-based environmentMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
