POSITION: Community Kitchen Supervisor Manages the daily operations of the Community Kitchen, Community Refrigerator, and Take-out Window. DUTIES: * Serves as Food Safety Manager, ensuring all individuals handling food use proper safety precautions. * Support with incoming/outgoing food donations and daily pickups. * Responsible for opening the Pavilion at 7:30 AM from October through April and ensuring coffee is prepared and available for participants in the pavilion. * Manages, supports, and trains volunteers and community service. * Facilitate weekly purchases, submitting orders, signing for orders, and managing donations for the Community Kitchen and Take-out Window Programs. * Lifting 50 pounds on a regular basis. REQUIREMENTS: * 3-5 years experience in food service industry with cooking. * Current ServSafe Managers Certification or Safe Food Handler Certification, or must pass within six months of hire. * Ability to be flexible, adapt to change, problem solve and multi-task. * Communication and conflict management skills. * Pass drug tests for employment and submit to random drug tests. * Pass a background check. * Must maintain a current drivers license.
