    Role Description The Community Liaison is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, VA, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, families, referral sources, and community organizations. This role involves regularly visiting healthcare providers, senior centers, and local agencies to share information about SASTS Quality Home Care services and identify opportunities for collaboration. The Community Liaison will organize and participate in outreach events, educational sessions, and community activities to increase awareness and support for home care services. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries, supporting prospective clients through the service onboarding process, gathering feedback from partners, and working closely with internal teams to align outreach efforts with organizational goals.

    • Strong Community Engagement and Community Outreach skills to build partnerships and represent the organization in local networks.

    • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients, families, and professional partners in a clear and respectful manner.
    • \n
    • Understanding of Home Care services and the needs of individuals receiving in-home support.
    • \n
    • Ability to work independently in the field, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on outreach initiatives.
    • \n
    • Experience in healthcare, social services, or community-based organizations is preferred.
    • \n
    • Comfort with basic office software and tools for tracking contacts, visits, and outreach activities.
    • \n
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel in and around Alexandria, VA.
    • \n
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in health, social work, or related fields is beneficial.
