Community Liaison

We are seeking a Community Liaison to help drive brand awareness and increase market share for our on-campus Inpatient Program, Outpatient Program and Residential Treatment Program.

This is an exempt position, with travel required.

What You’ll Do:

Our Community Liaison make a difference in the lives of our patients. Our dedicated professionals work tirelessly to create an environment that fosters healing, growth, and long-term wellness.

This individual will be responsible for:

• Assist the Chief Executive Officer in fulfilling the goals and objectives of the hospital marketing plan.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources in the greater Los Angeles region including physicians, therapists, hospitals, schools, and social service organizations.  
• Plan Programs and events that build relationships between the hospital and potential clients.
• Assists in the designing of hospital brochures and related materials.
• Create social media content and drive digital engagement.
• Maintain a consistent flow of referrals to the outpatient program and effectively coordinates with the Business Office to verify the insurance of patients.
• Other related duties.

 Aurora Charter Oak Hospital is a licensed and accredited psychiatric hospital providing Behavioral Health Treatment Services for adults and adolescents with mental health and/or substance use problems for over 83 years. We are located on 10 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in Covina, California. Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Worked as a Community Liaison, or have sales, business development, account management, project management, or marketing background
• Experience with having a referral growth responsibility for relevant hospital business lines
• Experience in building relationship with hospitals, schools, and social service organizations
• Valid California Driver’s License, can be insured through employer’s carrier
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare, or related field
• Two years of healthcare experience
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to effectively use CRM software programs such as Salesforce or Zoho
• Internet marketing and social media experience highly desirable
• Experience working for an outpatient (IOP/PHP) and a Residential Treatment Program is preferred
• Experience with behavioral health preferred
