    Description

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and performance management for Peer Recovery Ambassadors and Alumni Coordinators.
    • Develop, implement, and continuously improve strategies that increase community engagement, referral source development, alumni participation, and recovery support initiatives.
    • Establish departmental goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance expectations for outreach and alumni engagement activities.
    • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, community impact, participation metrics, and engagement outcomes.
    • Ensure consistency in program delivery, messaging, documentation, and stakeholder engagement practices.
    • Develop policies, procedures, and best practices supporting PRA and Alumni Services operations.
    • Oversee community outreach activities designed to increase awareness of Aware Recovery Care's services and recovery resources.
    • Support PRAs in building and maintaining relationships with community organizations, civic groups, recovery community organizations, faith-based organizations, educational institutions, healthcare providers, law enforcement agencies, EMS organizations, and other community stakeholders.
    • Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities that strengthen local recovery ecosystems.
    • Represent Aware Recovery Care at professional meetings, conferences, networking events, coalitions, health fairs, educational forums, and recovery-focused activities.
    • Develop and oversee educational presentations and training initiatives related to substance use disorder, recovery, wellness, and community resources.
    • Promote community initiatives that reduce stigma and increase access to treatment and recovery support services.
    • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of outreach activities, alumni engagement efforts, partnerships, and program outcomes.
    • Monitor CRM, EMR, Salesforce, and other reporting systems for data accuracy and performance tracking.
    • Analyze engagement reports and community metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Prepare regular reports for leadership regarding outreach impact, alumni engagement, partnerships, and program performance.

     

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
    • This role is remote, but candidate must reside in one of the following states: CT, FL, GA, IN, KY, ME, MA, NH, OH, RI, VA, NJ, NY, PA, TX 
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, recovery services, alumni services, community outreach, business development, or related field.
    • Exceptional understanding Aware Recovery Care’s IHAT program along with substance use disorders, recovery principles, and the recovery continuum of care.
    • Experience utilizing CRM, EMR, Salesforce, or similar data management platforms.
    • The annual salary range for this position in $65k - $80k, contingent on experience and education.
