JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Referral Development: Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, assisted living communities, financial advisors, attorneys, and other referral partners.
• Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow referral activity throughout the assigned territory.
• Community Outreach: Conduct regular in-person visits, networking activities, and relationship-building meetings within the local market.
• Business Development: Generate new client referrals through consistent engagement with community and healthcare partners.
• Relationship Management: Establish trust and maintain long-term partnerships that contribute to ongoing referral growth.
• CRM Management: Document activities, opportunities, and referral relationships within the company CRM system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with intake, operations, and administrative teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Performance Achievement: Meet or exceed business development goals, including generating approximately 50 new care hours per week.
• Brand Representation: Serve as a professional ambassador of the organization within the community.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in healthcare, home care, medical services, case management, community outreach, business development, or a related field.
• Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with referral sources and community partners.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build credibility and trust.
• Resilience: Proven persistence and ability to remain motivated through longer sales and referral cycles.
• Organization: Strong planning, time management, and territory management skills.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Work Style: Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
• Professionalism: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to serving clients and families.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Clinical or healthcare experience strongly preferred, including backgrounds such as nursing, case management, patient advocacy, care coordination, social work, or other client-facing healthcare roles.
• Existing network within the local healthcare, senior-care, or community services market strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to assess client and family needs, educate stakeholders, and build trust through a consultative, service-oriented approach.
• Experience with community outreach, referral development, or relationship-building activities within healthcare settings.
• Experience with consultative or relationship-based sales environments is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
• Uncapped Commission Program
• First-Year Earnings Potential: $95,000 - $120,000
