We pride ourselves on professionalism, responsiveness, and building lasting relationships through quality service.Job SummaryThe Part-Time Community Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs throughout Parkside Place Homeowners Association. This role helps ensure the community's common areas, amenities, and facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained while providing timely, high-quality service to residents and the management team. Working independently, the technician performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, identifies potential maintenance concerns, and recommends repairs to preserve the appearance, safety, and value of the community.Supervisor Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

Required Skills/Abilities

• Working knowledge of general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Ability to diagnose and complete minor repairs safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance requests and respond appropriately to urgent situations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to recognize repairs requiring licensed contractors.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of general maintenance, facilities maintenance, handyman, or property maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience working within a homeowners association (HOA), condominium, apartment community, or commercial property is preferred.
• Valid Florida driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to successfully pass a background screening.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift materials throughout the workday.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate maintenance equipment, ladders, and hand and power tools.
• Must be able to visually inspect equipment, buildings, and community amenities.
• Must be able to respond to occasional urgent maintenance needs outside of the regular schedule when requested.
