Description
The Community Manager - Boston is responsible for leading the daily operations of the community by providing operational leadership across resident experience, facilities operations, leasing, and administrative functions. This role directly supervises the Resident Experience Manager and Service Manager, ensuring collaboration between teams, consistent execution of company standards, and exceptional service delivery.
Working in partnership with the Managing Director and under the direction of the Regional Director, the Community Manager executes operational priorities, develops on-site leaders, and monitors community performance to support occupancy, financial, and resident experience objectives. This role serves as the operational leader responsible for executing the community''s daily operations while supporting broader business initiatives established by the Managing Director.
Timely completion of work orders.
Execution of preventative maintenance programs.
Effective planning and execution of Turn.
Community cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal standards.
Work Environment
Living on-site is a condition of employment (i.e. required without exceptions) for this role. This requirement is for the business need of emergency response and on-call. Must be available to respond to emergencies as they arise, including those that occur after normal business hours. This position is subject to on-call rotation.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the Community Manager - Boston role is an experienced leader in student or multifamily housing (multifamily property management), hospitality, or a related environment, who can support day-to-day property operations, lead on-site teams, and deliver an exceptional resident experience. This role includes overseeing resident experience, facilities, leasing, and administrative functions while partnering with the Managing Director and Regional Director to support community performance.
Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with experience managing teams and supporting operational performance. While not all candidates will have experience across every operational function, they should be ready to grow into broader leadership responsibilities while fostering accountability, teamwork, and exceptional service.
