Community Manager Dallas, TX $85,000 – $95,000 / year
OVERVIEW A 200-unit market-rate community in Dallas is looking for a Community Manager to run the property day to day. Dallas's renter base is diverse, and this property in particular serves a lot of Spanish-speaking residents — so this role calls for someone who can lead a team and connect with residents in both English and Spanish.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Oversee all daily operations — leasing, maintenance coordination, resident relations
Own the property's budget and report on financial performance
Set and hit occupancy and leasing goals, adjusting pricing and marketing as needed
Handle lease renewals and drive resident retention
Supervise, train, and support the on-site leasing and maintenance team
Coordinate with vendors and contractors on repairs, unit turns, and capital projects
Communicate with residents in both English and Spanish, in person and in writing
Handle resident concerns and disputes promptly and professionally
Walk the property regularly to stay on top of curb appeal and maintenance needs
WHY YOU MATTER A community this size runs on how well the manager connects with residents and keeps the team on the same page — being able to do that in two languages here isn't a nice-to-have, it's how the property actually runs day to day.
WHAT IT TAKES
3-5+ years of property management experience, ideally with market-rate multifamily
Bilingual in English and Spanish — required, not optional, for this property
Comfortable managing a budget and reading financial reports
Strong leader who can motivate and hold a team accountable
Solid grasp of leasing, marketing, and resident retention strategy
Familiar with property management software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, or similar)
Clear communicator, in writing and in person, in both languages
Comfortable with vendor management and light capital project oversight
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
THE PERKS!
$85,000–$95,000/year, plus eligibility for a $1,250 quarterly bonus
BCBS health, dental, and vision
401(k)
10 paid holidays plus 1 floating holiday, PTO
$2,500 education assistance
