Sitka Fine Arts Camp SFAC founded in 1973 builds community through arts opportunities.
Its programs include a nationally recognized summer arts camp, performing arts series, artist residencies, and in-school arts programming.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES • Represent AmeriCorps by wearing designated gear. • Coordinate volunteers at the Sitka Performing Arts Center. • Build relationships with visiting artists. • Manage the complimentary ticket program for local organizations and schools. • Train and coordinate ushers for events at the Sitka Performing Arts Center. • Assist with coordination of the SFAC Performing Arts Series. • Develop and manage youth outreach programming related to the Performing Arts Series. • Strengthen community engagement for SFAC programs. • Support the Young Performers Theater program. • Provide backstage and production assistance as needed.
