Overview:As the Community Outreach Director for a multi-store market, you will be the strategic force behind all marketing and community engagement efforts. In this role, you’ll lead the outreach vision, manage local outreach teams, and align every initiative with the business goals of each store. You’ll own the market’s marketing strategy and budget, measure the success of campaigns and events, and help elevate Fleet Feet as a trusted resource for running, fitness, and wellness in the community.
Working closely with Operating Partners, Store Leadership, and the Fleet Feet Store Support Team, you’ll ensure that community relationships, local events, and in-store experiences reflect Fleet Feet’s brand, mission, and growth objectives. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of grassroots marketing, community building, and retail success.

Join Us:5+ years of marketing, community engagement, or grassroots outreach experience (retail preferred)
Proven success leading marketing strategies and outreach campaigns across multiple locations
Experience managing people, building teams, and providing mentorship and development
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple levels
Self-directed, adaptable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Passionate about Fleet Feet’s mission and active lifestyle communities
Proficient in Google Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office
Existing relationships within the local fitness, wellness, or running communities preferred
Experience in run specialty or fitness-related retail a plus
