Description

Job Overview As the community Painter Mason, you will play a key role on the maintenance team by restoring and repairing existing structures using materials such as stone, brick, and concrete to maintain the integrity and appearance of the community.

Compensation $18 per hour

FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a clients property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the clients directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Your Responsibilities

  • Form set mix and pour concrete for sidewalks, curbs, patios, and other surfaces.
  • Cut, lay, and finish concrete blocks and bricks.
  • Perform grinding and finishing work to ensure smooth surfaces and proper alignment.
  • Patch and repair stucco and masonry surfaces.
  • Rebuild or repair damaged block walls and retaining walls.
  • Remove and replace deteriorated or damaged patio beams.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, building codes, and HOA guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, materials, and work areas.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team and other vendors as needed.
  • Respond to service requests or project assignments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with other general maintenance tasks as required.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Able to mix and work with concrete, stucco, and mortar.
  • Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, tools, materials, and safety procedures.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools, including saws, grinders, and mixers.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and perform strenuous labor outdoors.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.

Education and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Mason, Concrete Finisher, or similar role.
  • Familiar with structural repairs and general construction practices.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Work will be primarily outdoors.
  • Able to work in various weather conditions such as heat, rain, cold, wind, etc.

Work Location Green Valley, Arizona

Work Hours Monday - Friday, 7a - 3:30p
