Job Summary
Under the direction of the Community Program Manager, or in his/her absence, the Regional Behavioral Health Administrator, will administer activities of the County’s Strategic Prevention Framework – Partnerships for Success (SPF-PFS) Program while maintaining compliance with the grant agreement. Responsible for coordinating, planning, implementing, and assessing community outreach and prevention education to further the Substance Use and Behavioral Health program and its related initiatives. Driver of stakeholder engagement to manage active partnerships necessary to the program, including school administrators, educators, law enforcement, business owners, community organizations, etc.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Public Health, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Work experience in similar field and college education can be considered equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain Certified Prevention Specialist within two years of hire, if not already certified.
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Google Workspace and other software such as Canva.
  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to set up and maintain program monitoring systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in private and public settings with large and small groups of people.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish helpful.
  • Experience working with City, County and/or State Government preferred.
  • Ability to interact professionally with supervisor and other co-workers.
  • Ability to work independently of daily supervision and to exercise discretionary judgment and thinking.
  • Valid NM Driver’s License. No DWI conviction within the past three (3) years.
  • Ability to perform all essential duties as listed below.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties in the working conditions described below.
  • Ability to work with the equipment, tools, and materials listed below.
  • Must comply with safety guidelines and policies of the County.
