Position Description The Community and Public Health Department offers a wide variety of classes that meet graduation and transfer requirements as well as courses designed to train students for careers in public health and social services.
This position would teach HLTH 210 Community Birth Worker/Doula Education which prepares students for Doula certification and also fulfills an elective in the Community Health Worker Program.
The ideal candidate will share the colleges commitment to educating its racially and socioeconomically diverse student population and be knowledgeable about culturally responsive teaching techniques and effective practices for engaging diverse communities who are historically underrepresented and underserved in traditional classrooms.

Special Instructions to ApplicantAMENDED TO REFLECT BOLDED 1ST ROUND OF SCREENING INFORMATION BELOW.
City College of San Francisco will accept applications with all required supporting documentation at any time until October 2026. Screening and interviews can be conducted at any point in time as the department desires a part-time hiring pool or pools will be developed and be in effect for a one-year period from which temporary appointments will be made on an as-needed basis.
The first round of screening and interviews will begin on December 1st for those who have submitted completed application materials.
